The segment will examine how farmers from around the world will benefit from the center, as well as how Advanta Seeds plans to tackle the agronomic issues faced by farmers in Texas and other states throughout the US, which are impacting crop performance. “Advanta CS Biotechnology Center will be the heart of Advanta Seeds innovation. The new center was created based on Advanta’s 60 years of experience in plant genetics, the latest technology, and the best of talent,” said Dr. Alberto Leon, Advanta Seeds Global R&D Director.
“We are very excited about the opening of the Advanta CS Biotech Center and the introduction of the three new breeding stations. We are at the forefront of introducing new traits in Sorghum and are happy to have set the standard on Sugar Aphid Tolerance in Sorghum with the introduction of Aphix Hybrids,” said Brad Holzworth, Advanta Seeds Director of Marketing for North America.
“Advanta Seeds is dedicated to using sustainable methods and technologies to help breeders make the best decisions for delivering the best products to farmers,” said Jennifer Tierney, producer for the American Farmer series. “We are excited to discuss how innovation and technology continue to expand the horizon for Agriculture.”
