Applewood Seed Company announces its updated website

Arvada, Colorado, USA
November 16, 2017

Applewood Seed Company has just updated their website to showcase its products, and a brand new seed store has been added to offer online ordering for registered customers.  The new website is more interactive, and the improved search function can assist you in finding just the right seeds for your projects or customers.

Additional descriptive information and images have been added to the individual flower species, grasses, herbs and mixtures.  If plants are suitable for pollinator conservation, that has been noted as well.  The search function allows you to hunt for a wider array of plant traits such as colors, fragrant flowers, and heights.  You can also search for plant species that are appropriate for specific uses such as xeriscaping, beds and borders, conservation or a cut flower garden.  In addition, a digital version of the catalog can be accessed and downloaded to your computer or device.

After ten years of pollinator research in their trial gardens, Applewood has expanded their knowledge and understanding of pollinator flower preferences.  This allows for them to make more appropriate flower choices for pollinator conservation projects.  Check out the Pollinator Conservation page for updated information about their new pollinator mixes.

A new feature of Applewood’s website is the media room.  Here you’ll find an interesting collection of articles, awards, interviews and news items about the company.
