Inocucor appoints Tim Sturm as Global Chief Commercial Officer - Agri-tech company targets worldwide biologicals market for growth

Denver, Colorado, USA
October 16, 2017

Inocucor, the developer and producer of powerful biological crop inputs for agriculture, has appointed Tim Sturm as Executive Vice President, Marketing and Sales and Chief Commercial Officer.

Sturm is a distinguished senior product, marketing and sales executive who most recently served as Vice President, Consumer Solutions for Koch Agronomic Services, LLC, a $300M plant nutrient division of Koch Industries, Inc. Prior to this position, he managed the specialty fertilizer business for the same company as Vice President, Turf & Ornamental Business Unit. Before joining Koch Industries, he held various senior sales and marketing positions with The Coleman Company, Dorel Industries, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company and Newell Rubbermaid.

“Tim joins Inocucor at an important stage in the company's growth,” said Inocucor President and CEO Donald R. Marvin. "He will bring considerable industry experience to our global commercialization activities."

Sturm will oversee all commercial operations for Inocucor and will lead a rapidly expanding team of sales, marketing and business development professionals across North America and Latin America.

Inocucor uses a patented fermentation process to combine multi-strains of bacteria and yeasts into powerful soil and plant optimizers that are safe for people and the environment. Growers in Canada and the U.S. are using Inocucor’s first two biostimulatory products to naturally improve crop yields, shorten growing periods and produce healthier, more resilient soils.

Sturm holds an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
