Northern Seed continues investment in seed business

Great Falls, Montana, USA
June 20, 2017

Northern Seed provides high quality certified seed and the most effective broad-spectrum seed treatments for Montana's toughest soil and seed borne diseases. We continue to invest in our Montana focused research and development program for all crops to supply the best genetics possible. All of this strengthens our commitment to improving the commercial seed environment while networking crop contracts for producers with food processors to supply their needs.

Northern Seed strives to continually meet customer needs and demands at each facility. We have recently added accounting and customer service representatives at each facility, which will give you faster response times for your questions regarding delivery, pick up, purchasing, and billing inquiries.

We have several other improvements planned for the summer that we will be implementing as quickly as possible to ensure a great fall planting season for our customers.

Billings and Fort Benton's seed cleaning equipment is being updated and rebuilt to better meet the high-quality standards for better performance in the field. Stay tuned for other improvements coming at our Fort Benton facility.

Shelby's new gravity table is fully operational now and is performing as expected to remove impurities, admixture, insect damage and immature kernels, giving you cleaner more uniform seed which means more profits in the field.

In addition to upgrading our facilities, we've teamed up with Meridian Seeds to produce high quality chickpeas, field peas, spring wheat, winter wheat, and flax.

Northern Seed is committed to investing in its seed business and Montana producers. We will continue to make improvements and upgrades that keep you planting and growing more profitably.
