Seed enhancement company Incotec is presenting its latest innovations to the global seed sector at the International Seed Federation (ISF) 2017 congress in Budapest on May 22-24. Under the theme ‘Covering every Corner’ Incotec’s stand displays the company’s high level of innovation, with three new solutions for corn being launched. These products meet the specific needs of customers and conditions in different corners of the globe. Alongside these corn solutions, Incotec is also showcasing a spectacular new development in tomato priming, proven to speed up the germination of seeds.
As market leader in seed enhancements, Incotec is a dedicated supporter of the International Seed Federation. This is demonstrated through its longstanding sponsorship of the ISF congress golf tournament which is held on Sunday May 21: the traditional kick-off to the week’s events.
Since its acquisition in 2015 by speciality chemical company Croda, Incotec has increased its efforts in the development of innovative solutions for field crops. To date, this approach has led to several new products, including the corn coatings being presented at this year’s ISF. The vegetable seed sector also continues to profit from Incotec’s innovations in the treatment of vegetable seeds: the new development in tomato priming is a good example of this. Visitors to the ISF are welcome to meet with delegates of Incotec and parent company Croda, for information on new products and other developments in the seed enhancement business.
Strong commitment to the future of the company’s vegetable business was demonstrated when Incotec announced a 4-million-dollar investment in its North American business last October. Earlier this week additional significant investment in North America was announced with focus on expanding the field crops business. In December 2016, the company opened an Innovation Centre in the Netherlands dedicated to the development of innovative products and solutions tailored to the needs of the market. Asia also remains a key region for the business with planned investments to expand facilities in China and India.
ISF delegates can visit Incotec at stand No. 629/630 in the congress exhibition area. To schedule an appointment with one of our representatives, please e-mail christina.westplate@incotec.com.
