Incotec changes focus in key region Asia - Incotec closing operations in Japan and investing further in China and India
Enkhuizen, The Netherlands
24 January 2017
In June 2017 Incotec will close its seed treatment operations in Japan. The current size, returns and potential growth opportunities in Japan do not justify continuation of the operation. Despite the closure of Japan, Asia remains a key region for the business. Incotec is planning further investments in Asia and has found synergies with Croda’s Crop Protection division. The planned investments in the expansion of the facilities in China and India, which will be used for both crop protection and seed enhancement, are good examples of this synergy.
