Incotec provides seed enhancement products and services that increase yield in vegetables and field crops. The opening of the Innovation Centre is an example of Incotec’s commitment to innovation.
The Innovation Centre houses several chemical, biological and analytical laboratories including labs for extremely clean and safe molecular and microbiological research and various application labs for developing innovative seed coatings. As well as a number of climate chambers for activities such as priming and seed storage, there are also three plant propagation chambers, the so-called phytotrons, with controlled uniform growing conditions - light (LED), temperature and humidity - that enable extremely reliable trial results.
Incotec was acquired last year by speciality chemical company Croda who has since invested almost 3 million euros in this new research centre. Incotec is extremely proud of this state of the art centre and is dedicated to continue to provide innovative products and solutions tailored to market needs. In parallel, the company announced a 4 million dollar investment in a leading site in California in the United States.
