Incotec can be seen at Seed meets Technology in Zwaagdijk, the Netherlands from 27th to 30th September. Seed meets Technology is the trade show for the Dutch seed sector.
Incotec is present every day in the exhibition area (stand No. 1) and the innovations on show include the three newest seed enhancement products.
Under the motto ‘Covering every Corner’, Incotec’s message remains unchanged ‘Contributing to feeding the world’. The yield from food seeds can be increased significantly through seed enhancement. Which is the reason that participation is characterized by (healthy) food. Those who take part in the social media action earn themselves a cook’s apron and also have the chance of winning first prize: a restaurant voucher for a dinner for two at ‘De Kas’ in Amsterdam. In the stand, Elleke’s Kitchen will turn healthy ingredients, which Incotec has contributed to, into surprising snacks.
Green technology symposium
In collaboration with Koppert Biological Systems Incotec is organizing a symposium ‘Micro-organisms and additives in seed enhancement’. The symposia take place on Tuesday 27 September at 1:30 pm and Thursday 29 September at 11:00 am. Each of these companies will give a glimpse into the future possibilities and developments in seed-application methods. In the Incotec stand trial results can be seen including application of mycorrhiza to seed to give the plant a better root system.
About Seed meets Technology
As well as being an exhibitor, Incotec is also one of the initiators of Seed meets Technology. At this year’s event, which is the third edition, there are 40 national and international exhibitors. There are two parts to Seed meets Technology. The newest techniques and innovations in the areas of seed technology, coating, software, LED hydroponics and phenotyping are presented in the Technology part, and in the other, the participating companies have united in the so-called Vegetable trials. There will be twice daily tours to the trial fields on offer especially for growers and other interested parties.
