Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Aqueena Clennett has been named an Account Manager for Issues Ink Media, working extensively with seed industry clients around the globe.

In her new position, Clennett will engage with seed industry organizations, associations and agencies to strategically position business development opportunities including all platforms of media in the Issues Ink portfolio. Clennett brings with her a strong ag background and a commitment to serving her clients.

“We are extremely excited to have Aqueena on our team,” says Craig Armstrong, vice president of Sales and Marketing at Issues Ink. “Right from square one I was completely impressed with her communication ability and style … we know that understanding our clients needs is critical and Aqueena combines a life long love of agriculture with a concerted desire to help individuals and organizations be successful. A great fit!”

Janet Kanters has been named as the managing editor for Spud Smart and the Alberta Seed Guide. An award winning agriculture writer, Kanters has over 20 years experience in the agriculture sector working as an editor and writer for other respected agriculture publications as well as working in the fields of public relations and communications.

“Janet Kanters is a name synonomous with Canadian agriculture and we are thrilled to have her on our team,” says Issues Ink president Shawn Brook. “Janet’s deep understanding of the agriculture industry and producer’s need for timely and informative content are a recipe for success to continue building on the improvements we’re driving forward in our Spud Smart and Alberta Seed Guide properties. Quite frankly, Janet has forgotten more about Canadian agriculture than most will ever know. Her connection to grassroots ag and industry understanding make her a great addition to our team.”
