Waltz will lead Inocucor's agronomy services function, including initiation and management of large-scale field trials on soybean, corn, wheat, cotton and canola across North and South America. He will work with Inocucor's partner clients and large-scale production farmers to ensure continuous improvement in overall yield and agronomic performance of the company's microbial products for bio-stimulation, bio-fertility and bio-protection.
Waltz has expertise in crop protection, plant breeding, transgenic traits and chemical manufacturing (adjuvants) with leading agriculture companies Exacto, Inc., DuPont Pioneer and American Cyanamid. During his nine years as a senior research manager at DuPont Pioneer, he led field evaluations and germplasm characterization for transgenic corn herbicide traits.
Waltz grew up in rural Nebraska, working on his uncle’s corn, soybean, and farrow-to-finish hog farm. He holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Agronomy and Horticulture from the University of Nebraska.
About Inocucor Technologies Inc.
Inocucor Technologies Inc., based in Montreal, is an ag biotech company that develops sustainable biological products for agriculture targeting the phyto-microbiome—the seeds, plants, root systems and the soil surrounding them. Inocucor's first-generation product, Garden Solution®, employs live microbes to actively improve the health of the entire phyto-microbiome. Future generations of Inocucor products are powerful cell-free biological formulations for bio-stimulation, and proprietary new biological entities and active compounds for bio-fertility and bio-protection targeting mainstream production agriculture.
