U.S. Department of Agriculture's APHIS announces extension of deregulation to GE potato - J.R. Simplot potato petition to extend determination

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) announced an extension of deregulation to a line of genetically engineered (GE) potato developed by J.R. Simplot Company for low acrylamide potential, reduced black spot bruising, and lowered reducing sugars.  The effective date of the determination is January 13, 2016.
