Bayer CropScience Vegetable Seeds was a platinum sponsor for the event. Their booth was well-attended with both old and new potential customers. Staff members participated in the Seed Spitting and Watermelon Eating Contest, Trail Specialist Cory Runyon, participated in the watermelon eating contest and Sales Specialist Juan Sabator, in the Seed Spitting contest; both gentlemen placed second overall in each event.
In addition to interactive sponsored participation during this event, the watermelon team launched a new campaign with key messaging regarding their strengths. Besides delivering the strengths message in all key components of the booth space, signage and materials; Sales Specialist Rosie Aguirre addressed the attendees during the convention dinner with regards to this new message. She gave a powerful speech on the team’s behalf on strength and partnership. Her words clearly resonated with the crowd and were well accepted by the watermelon industry.
