Fresno, California
December 15, 2009
Agrian (http://www.agrian.com), the nation’s first fully integrated agridata tracking solution, is pleased to announce its exclusive relationship with Dow AgroScience’s soil fumigant Telone. This new strategic partnership, beginning in January 2010, requires those interested in writing crop protection recommendations using Telone within California to use the Agrian system.
“Agrian is pleased to be supporting Dow on its California Telone reporting requirements,” said Nishan Majarian, co-founder and chief executive officer for Agrian. “This is another example of Agrian’s commitment to offer our users access to the nation’s largest and most comprehensive label database which currently has over 4,000 approved products.”
Agrian is offering a series of training dates on how to write a recommendation using Telone for Dow AgroScience Telone approved PCAs. The dates and times can be found at http://www.agrian.com/home/training.cfm.
About Telone
Telone® soil fumigant controls all major species of nematodes, including root knot, reniform, lesion, stubby root, dagger, ring, pin, and cyst nematodes. It is injected into the soil as a liquid and immediately converts to a gas, creating a zone of protection around developing roots. As a "true" fumigant, Telone moves throughout the soil profile on its own, rather than requiring water or incorporation for movement. Telone is a product of Dow AgroSciences LLC. Telone is a Restricted Use Pesticide. Always read and follow label directions. For more information, visit http://www.dowagro.com/soil/products/.
