CropInspect is a new business alliance established by AgCall and 20/20 Seed Labs. CropInspect has been formed to provide unbiased dependable seed crop inspection services to seed growers and seed companies in 2014 and beyond.
CropInspect will provide crop inspection services, starting in 2014, to individual seed growers and seed companies through the use of Licensed Seed Crop Inspectors (LSCI). These qualified inspectors will be licensed and audited by CFIA. AgCall (CropInspect) will also be licensed by CFIA as an Authorized Seed Crop Inspection Service (ASCIS).
20/20 Seeds Inc. has nineteen (19) years of experience in crop inspection services and quality management systems in hybrid canola seed production. AgCall will be drawing on that in-field experience, quality management and expertise and applying it to cereal and pulse crops beginning in 2014 followed by other crops in the future. In addition, AgCall will have exclusive use of the robust 20/20 in-field software program and systems to ensure CropInspect delivers an effective, efficient and superior crop inspection system to the seed growers and seed companies across all regions in Canada.
AgCall is an agricultural company that has been providing project management services to the agricultural industry across Canada and the United States for the last twenty-five (25) years.
This relationship between AgCall and 20/20 has been developed to provide a dependable third party crop inspection service that is in the best interests of the seed growers and pedigreed seed industry. CropInspect will work closely with CSGA and CFIA to ensure the reputation of our seed industry is maintained and enhanced as we move forward.
Together, CropInspect will deliver market leading crop inspection services to the seed industry.
