We are pleased to announce that Dr. Tariq Mahmood has joined our software support team as a Software Specialist in plant breeding, effective January 2013.

Dr. Tariq Mahmood, a former maize breeder with DuPont Pioneer Hi-Bred International, holds a PhD in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta. His PhD thesis was on the association of molecular marker traits with qualitative and quantitative traits in Brassica Juncea. His MSc is from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan.

Tariq is a successful plant breeder, named in 9 patents for Pioneer Hi-Bred maize hybrids and releasing a hemp variety. With experience in the breeding of maize, hemp, apple, mustard and canola, Tariq strengthens our support team for our clients worldwide.
