MANA Canada announces the registration of TopLine™ broadleaf herbicide for use in wheat, barley and oats. TopLine contains florasulam and MCPA ester, the same active ingredients as Frontline™ herbicide.
“MANA Canada is committed to providing high-performance crop protection solutions, and TopLine delivers on that,” says Andrew Mann, General Manager with MANA Canada. “We developed TopLine to offer cereal growers a competitive choice in broadleaf weed control.”
TopLine controls a wide spectrum of broadleaf weeds in wheat, barley and oat crops. For best results, TopLine should be applied when weeds are in the one to four leaf stage and the cereal crop is in the two to six leaf stage.
“TopLine is a great agronomic fit in the dark brown, black and gray soil zones where cleavers, hemp-nettle, wild buckwheat and volunteer canola are problems,” explains Kyle Barnett, Area Business Manager — Manitoba with MANA Canada. “In addition to being agronomically sound, TopLine provides growers with a choice in broadleaf herbicides without complicated rebate programs or mandatory bundling.”
TopLine is tank-mixable with several grassy weed herbicides for broad-spectrum, one-pass weed control in wheat and barley. It combines the power of Group 2 and Group 4 herbicides for improved broadleaf weed control, and to help prevent and manage herbicide resistance.
