Des Moines-based Bratney Companies, a leading equipment, design and construction firm for the seed and feed industries, recently announced that Peter Bratney will take over as Chief Executive Officer. Peter will replace his father, Paul Bratney, who will retire to his position as Chairman of the company after 35 years. Peter Bratney will be the third generation of the Bratney family to lead the company since its founding in 1964.

“It’s a blessing to be the third generation to lead this great company,” Peter said. “My mission is to preserve our values of integrity and innovation in providing products and services to our customers.”

Peter will direct an executive leadership team consisting of Dave Ewald, Director of Marketing and Customer Service; Dean Walkup, Director of Design and Project Development; Mark Johnson, Director of Construction Operations; Curt Davis, Director of Sales; and Brian Frantum, Director of Finance.
