Inspiration comes in many forms, and Benary's new pansy ‘inspire’ series embodies this

Engineered with grower production specifications in mind, the new ‘inspire’™ pansy series offers a strong, dense plant with loads of blooms. Narrow flowering windows between colors, longer flowering under short days and a tight compact habit ensure that ‘inspire’™ is the pansy of choice.

Why 'inspire'™?

Over 8 years ago we began the process to develop a Pansy series specifically for the U.S. market. Our goals were to work on the following:

• Over-wintering characteristics and hardiness
• Plant recovery and early flowering in the spring landscape
• Heat resistance for early fall production and plantings
• Decreased stretch in warm weather
• Petal thickness and flower size
• Increased flowering for fall production under short days
• Uniform habit

These characteristics are the same that are used by our competitors; with one exception: We conducted blind trials at the grower level to ensure that there were no biases.

Grower input was taken throughout the process; from overwintering and hardiness trials in the North to heat tolerance and stress conditions in the Deep South, the ‘inspire’™ genetics were thoroughly tested for all of the criteria listed above.

With 24 colors, the ‘inspire’™ series offers the best and most comprehensive color assortment on the market.
