EnviroLogix Inc. continues to expand its plant pathogen product line with the release of its new QualiPlate Kits for Cucumber Green Mottle Mosaic Virus (CGMMV) and Melon Necrotic Spot Virus (MNSV). Developed to detect each virus in both seed and leaf tissue, these tests are highly sensitive and provide users with unique testing flexibility and speed.
The CGMMV and MNSV QualiPlate kits can be used in a common extraction step with our existing Squash Mosaic Virus (SqMV) kit to test one sample for all three pathogens. This common extraction step saves both sample prep time and material by allowing all three assays to be run at once.
The CGMMV and MNSV QualiPlate protocols, like the SqMV QualiPlate, take only two hours to perform. Analysis labs can increase test productivity and throughput, allowing for quicker decision making based on highly consistent data. If desired, an overnight incubation option can be employed which accommodates a 24-hour work flow.
All QualiPlate Kits are pre-coated and quality tested at the Portland, Maine, manufacturing facility. EnviroLogix utilizes precision equipment and processes to manufacture quality test kits, resulting in more consistent test results for their customers.
The QualiPlate Kits for CGMMV (Cat. # AP 079) and MNSV (Cat. # AP 080) are available individually or in sets of 10 plates. Labs interested in using QualiPlate Kits in large numbers should contact EnviroLogix for a price quote and bulk packaging options.
