In response to the regulations around the world (including EU Green Deal) aiming to promote safer and more sustainable chemicals into the environment, BASF is introducing its first readily biodegradable dispersant to the agrochemical market: Sokalan® CP 301.
Dispersants are essential additives in agricultural formulations ensuring the homogenous distribution of active ingredients and enhancing formulation stability. However, non-biodegradable additives can persist in the environment once sprayed on the field. The market anticipates stricter regulations for such additives soon. Biodegradable dispersants exhibiting high performance in the formulation remain limited due to biodegradability, often resulting in decreasing storage stability of the formulation.

Als Reaktion auf die weltweit zunehmenden Regulierungen (einschließlich des EU-Green Deals) für sicherere und nachhaltigere Chemikalien, präsentiert BASF seinen ersten leicht biologisch abbaubaren Dispergator für den Agrochemikalienmarkt: Sokalan® CP 301.
Dispergatoren sind essenzielle Additive in landwirtschaftlichen Formulierungen, die eine homogene Verteilung der hydrophoben Wirkstoffe sicherstellen und die Stabilität der Formulierung verbessern. Nicht biologisch abbaubare Additive können nach der Aufbringung aufs Feld in der Umwelt verbleiben. Der Markt erwartet künftig strengere Regulierungen für solche Additive. Biologisch abbaubare Dispergatoren mit hoher Leistungsfähigkeit in der Formulierung sind jedoch aufgrund ihrer Abbaubarkeit weiterhin begrenzt, da letztere Eigenschaft häufig zu einer abnehmenden Lagerstabilität der Formulierung führt.
