InterGrain welcomes Siobhan Morgan and David Brunton to the marketing team

InterGrain is excited to announce the appointment of two new recruits to the marketing team. Siobhan Morgan joins the team as southern NSW Territory Manager, while David Brunton joins as the Victorian Territory Manager. In their roles, Siobhan and David will oversee the promotion, marketing and technical support for InterGrain’s portfolio of wheat, barley and oat varieties.

David Brunton, Victorian Territory Manager:

David Brunton will be based at InterGrain’s Horsham facility and will cover Victorian grain growing regions. David has extensive agronomy experience, industry knowledge and understanding of the key on-farm business drivers.

David has always had a strong interest in agriculture hailing from a mixed farming enterprise located at Vite Vite North in Southwest Victoria and completing a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Honours) from the University of Tasmania, Hobart. Since then David has worked for the South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) as a research scientist and completed a PhD from the University of Adelaide focusing on herbicide resistance in annual ryegrass. David spent time at the University of Adelaide as  a weeds researcher and more recently has worked on the family farm and with Agxtra in Victoria.

“I am excited to join the team and contribute to the ongoing success of delivering high yielding varieties to Victorian growers,” said David.

Siobhan Morgan, Southern NSW Territory Manager:

Siobhan steps into the role of Territory Manager for the southern NSW region and will be based in Wagga Wagga. Having recently finished her studies at Charles Sturt University graduating with a Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management and is currently studying her Master of Science in Agriculture at the University of New England. Siobhan has spent the past 18 months working for Iwrin Stockfeeds around the Gippsland area. Hailing from Seaton in East Gippsland and spending 3 years around the Wagga Wagga area, Siobhan has a well-round understanding of southern NSW farming systems.

“I am thrilled to be part of the InterGrain team and I’m excited about the new challenge. I’m looking forward to building relationships with advisors and growers across southern NSW and helping them choose the right crop varieties for their farms and clients,” said Siobhan.

InterGrain Chief Marketing Officer Nicole Kerr said “We are delighted to welcome Siobhan and David and expand the InterGrain marketing team. Their experience and enthusiasm for cereal breeding and providing varietal solutions for growers will be a valuable asset to InterGrain.

Nicole said the new appointments reinforce InterGrain’s long-term commitment to plant breeding across Australia by providing growers and advisors with greater access to varietal information on the most suitable and highly productive cereal varieties.

Siobhan and David will work closely with the InterGrain team to promote the company’s portfolio of wheat, barley and oat varieties to growers and advisors in the region.
