Recently, Rijk Zwaan officially opened its newly build trial centre high tech, where the vegetable breeding company has the opportunity to showcase an extensive range of high-tech cucumber types cultivated in different cultivation systems, including high-wire and umbrella. In this demo, Rijk Zwaan is generating an amazing amount of data, such as foliage development, production and plant height.
Improving through partnerships
As partnerships are extremely important, Rijk Zwaan keeps exchanging information with growers worldwide to constantly develop new, improved and stronger cucumber varieties tailored to meet the market's demands. These improved varieties are displayed at the trial centre high tech.
