AgBiome is delighted to welcome Dr. Erika Geimonen as Head of Business Development! Under this role, Erika will be responsible for leading all business development activities for AgBiome’s Genesis™ platform.
“The AgBiome team has created an exciting platform–one that has an extensive, proprietary dataset of microbes, genes and solutions for many industries including but not limited to crop protection, traits, animal health, biomining, biosurfactants, and countless other natural solutions,” Erika said. The business development team under her direction partners in these areas to bring AgBiome technology to the market.
Erika has more than 25 years of experience in business development and research. She is proficient in management, operations, business development and strategic planning coupled with extensive technical knowledge in life sciences. In her previous role as Vice President, Business Development for Amring Pharmaceuticals she led all M&A, diligence and negotiation activities. Earlier in her career, Erika held a series of research roles and had her work published in many peer-reviewed scientific journals. She also serves on the boards of startup companies, assisting them with their corporate, business and financing activities.
Erika holds her M.S. in biology and Ph.D. in biology and biochemistry from Moscow State University in Russia and an M.S. in management and policy from the College of Business at the State University of New York in Stony Brook, USA.
