AgBiome announces Laura Potter as Chief Science Officer.

AgBiome is delighted to announce Laura Potter as Chief Science Officer.

At AgBiome, we are continuously driven by scientific excellence and our mission to partner with the microbial world for human benefit. With Genesis™, our gene and strain identification system, and our ever-expanding microbial discovery platform, we leverage both virtual and real-world screening of microbes using data science, high-throughput assays and field testing to find and optimize the best microbial solutions.

Today, we are thrilled to introduce Laura as Chief Science Officer. In this role, Laura is responsible for leading and enhancing AgBiome's discovery platform. She will drive AgBiome's scientific strategy and innovative vision to leverage our collection for product discovery and delivery.

Laura, who has been AgBiome's Head of Data Science since December 2021, enters this role with over 20 years of experience in life sciences R&D, including biotech, agriculture and pharmaceuticals, as well as over 10 years of global leadership experience. Laura holds a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from North Carolina State University.

AgBiome has successfully delivered three high-performance crop protection biological products to market and we continue to expand the industry by introducing effective leading-edge technologies. The development and growth of our leaders is a key driver in our ongoing pursuit of scientific excellence.
