With experience in the Elsoms Research and Development team and her previous role as Technical Coordinator, Olivia Sibley has taken on a customer-facing role as Customer Service Coordinator.
“With an Undergraduate in Biology, and a Postgraduate in Microbiology, I have a great foundation to build further knowledge on.” Says Olivia. “My qualifications and experience have prepared me for this diverse role within Elsoms’ Seed Technology department.”
During her time at Elsoms, Olivia has been involved in many areas of the business. From working with parsnip samples in the laboratory testing for DNA sequencing, to priming flower seeds and testing tree seed to improve germination, the work has provided a varied background to take into her new role. Elsoms’ presence at CropTec 2021 provided a real insight to the industry for Olivia and was a fantastic networking opportunity for a new entrant in the seed technology industry.
When asked what she’s looking forward to most, Olivia said “I’m looking forward to the challenge of helping to take our Seed Technology business to the next level. The real excitement is looking in to how we can develop our service package to meet the customer’s needs”.
Olivia will be providing support with requests focused on our seed technology business.
