The European Union's Farm to Fork goals require an expanded toolbox including genome editing

The European Sustainable Agriculture through Genome Editing (EU SAGE) network, representing 132 plant science institutes, has commented on the EU Commission’s Farm to Fork strategy.

All possible approaches, including genome editing, will be required to achieve the goals set out in the strategy and to ensure a productive and sustainable recovery from the COVID-19 crisis.
