July 1, 2020 marks the 20th anniversary for AgReliant Genetics, an industry-leading agricultural company dedicated to the research, production and sale of corn, soybeans and other seeds across North America. Now one of the largest independently owned corn seed companies, AgReliant was founded by a merge of assets between joint venture companies Groupe Limagrain, of France, and KWS, of Germany.
Throughout the last two decades, AgReliant Genetics has steadily increased its footprint across the US and Canada, and now offers trusted seed solutions throughout 38 states in the United States and 9 provinces in Canada through brands AgriGold, LG Seeds and PRIDE Seeds.
“At AgReliant, we are proud of the work we have done over the last 20 years to support our farmers, dealers and growers with our current seed brands as well as our many legacy seed brands that date back to the invention of hybrid seed corn,” said Craig Anderson, COO at AgReliant Genetics. “Today we celebrate the last 20 years and the many great accomplishments and partnerships we have established, but we remain focused on our promising future and the accomplishments yet to come.”
The research program at AgReliant Genetics has grown alongside the company’s footprint. Currently, AgReliant Genetics is one of four global corn germplasm pools with research sites across North America and a dedicated breeder network across the globe.
“Our germplasm portfolio access and ability to provide the market with unique, agronomically superior products allows us to partner with farmers to best meet their needs on the farm,” said Anderson. “Helping farmers grow and achieve the best yields for their farms starts in our research lab and plots and is why we have continued to invest in and innovate our research program and our position as a genetic provider.”
Throughout the year, AgReliant Genetics will continue to celebrate its anniversary through events, recognitions and industry support. For more information about AgReliant Genetics, please visit www.agreliantgenetics.com.
