Call for end to mandatory GM feeding studies

In a new position paper published this week, EuropaBio is calling for an end to mandatory 90-day feeding studies for GM crops currently required for product approval. The current feeding requirement contradicts EU science and ethics and should be removed in accordance with EU legislation on the protection of animals used for scientific purposes.
