Australia
June 11, 2013
A new Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) fact sheet brings together the latest results and recommendations from nine current cereal disease research projects for northern region growers.
Cereal fungicides – Northern Region outlines how and why growers should assess disease risk, including pre-planting tactics such as determining the risks posed by retained stubbles and over-summering weeds and cereal volunteers.
Other considerations include the seasonal outlook, variety selection and treatment plans if disease develops quickly.
