TS119 Yellow rust management in wheat

This Topic Sheet updates TS117 to include new diversification scheme for autumn 2012 based on information from the UK Cereal Pathogen Virulence Survey (UKCPVS).

The new Diversification Group selection matrix is presented on the back of this Topic Sheet. Several varieties have now moved out of DG1 (the lowest risk group) due to their increased susceptibility. Two varieties have been allocated to DG0 because of the extreme risk they pose to all varieties, other than those in DG1.
