Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a global and senior leadership role responsible for leading the newly created strategic marketing function and crop organization.

Strategic Leadership & Market Insights

• Lead the formulation and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy
• Guide the various crop management teams and the sub functions
• Spearhead high-level discussions and collaborate with key stakeholders at both global and local levels that impact the crop directions
• Ensure alignment of decisions with EWS overall business goals and plans.
• Establish, own, and manage all market data and insights including for the various crops and countries as well as for key competitors, customer needs and market trends at both global and regional/local levels.

Portfolio Management & Development

• Establish and drive the global crop portfolio management
• Implement a robust global process framework that governs decision making
• Drive and cultivate a strong value creation and delivery approach to crop portfolio management
• Update/ Refine the Strategic Marketing organization design
• Build and nurture the global marketing and crop organization capabilities of EWS by driving strategies for developing talents that can be mobilized across markets.

Strategical & Financial Management

Take full responsibility within the EWS Managing Board in P&L and in delivering the financial goals • Identify potential M&A targets for inorganic growth and provide full support to the CEO and the MB team throughout the evaluation process

THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF...

• You have master’s degree in marketing, business administration or related fields
• You have 10 to 15 years of proven experience in a similar global/regional marketing leadership role with international Agri/agro companies
• Solid proven experience in driving global product portfolio in all or any of these regions (Asia, Latam, Africa)
• You are a natural leader with an entrepreneurial and customer focused mindset
• You are visionary and able to drive transformation and vision with long term perspective
