We are excited to announce that the "State of Seed" podcast series from ISF, produced by Foreign Policy Magazine’s FP Studios, was launched on 12 July 2024!
Since its launch, the podcast has charted in multiple countries, including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Australia, reaching as high as #1 in the category of New Podcasts and #15 in the Earth Sciences category!
The podcast delves into the critical issues and innovative trends shaping the global seed industry. Hosted by FP’s Laura Rosbrow-Telem, each episode features in-depth discussions with leading experts within and around the seed industry, exploring topics such as seed innovation, seed trade, and the challenges to ensure high-quality seeds reach farmers who need it most.
Guests include UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Deputy Director-General Beth Bechdol, Wageningen University and Research (WUR) Plant Sciences Group Managing Director Richard Harrison, Bayer Crop Science Head of R&D for Vegetable Seeds J.D.
