The resurgence of kale

United Kingdom

Kale – the superfood

Over the years, the popularity of kale has continuously skyrocketed. Consumers are captivated by its “superfood” qualities. Kale is known to be an excellent source of vitamin A, B6, C, and K.  It is highly nutritious as it has more calcium than milk and more vitamin C than an orange. One cup of chopped raw kale provides more than 100% of the recommended daily amount of vitamins A and K. Kale really is a superfood.

Modern Kale varieties bred by Tozer Seeds

Tozer Seeds predicted this trend years ago, so we’ve had plenty of time to develop a multitude of brightly colored and uniquely textured varieties for consumers to choose from.

Due to their mild flavor, Tozer-bred kale varieties are fantastic steamed, stir-fried, or chopped in a leafy green salad.
