Developed by the Research Database Management (RDM) team of the Social Sciences Division (SSD), World Rice Statistics 3D presents global rice statistics by extending the capabilities of Google Earth. It creates a three-dimensional chart of a global rice statistic and drapes it across the globe.

Users can now “play” around with the globe - zoom-in or -out, rotate the globe in any direction - and most importantly, inquire for the value either by hovering or clicking on the country.
