KWS Benelux B.V. is looking for Cattle Feed Advisers to advise dairy farmers on optimizing and monitoring the feed ration and optimizing their feed programme.

KWS is a global breeding company of arable crops, fodder and vegetable crops, active in more than 70 countries. KWS has more than 5500 employees, more than 2000 of whom work in research. KWS has a long-term vision. Sustainability, economy and independence are the basic elements of this vision. With this vision, KWS develops new products and services and does everything possible to provide the farmers with the best possible service.

To this end, research is set up internally and externally and KWS enters into partnerships with other companies.

KWS has entered into a partnership with Farmdesk to optimize the cultivation and use of feed crops. Farmdesk is a company that has developed an online computer system with which the dairy farmer can optimise and monitor the feed rations and total feed costs themselves. More information can be found at www.farmdesk.eu and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxpvKqR6DFg. Be sure to watch the Farmdesk company film.

For the fodder and feed rationing systems, we are looking for an advisor for dairy farming (cattle feed and feed crops). This person will help the dairy farmers in optimizing the feed crops on the farm and the use of their production. The person will support the implementation of the Farmdesk system at the farms and will help the dairy farmers to optimize their most important costs: the feed costs. To this end, the consultant visits farms, organises meetings, attends trade fairs and keeps in touch digitally. We also expect substantive support from the rest of the regional KWS commercial team.

This position will be in home office.

Preferably you have:

  • Feeling/experience with the dairy sector, specific fodder and possibly feed crops
