art of the production department, reporting to Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for seed supply for the entire Vilmorin-MIKADO BU in France and abroad. You will contribute to defining and implementing production strategy.

Your main tasks:

• Manage a team of around twenty people in France and abroad
• Draw up the seed production plan and implement it
• Define the strategy for securing supplies in terms of quantity, quality, deadline and cost
• Prospect for new production areas
• Set out contractual ground rules
• Manage budgets
• Improve productivity with the support of an experimentation team
• Take an active part in inter-professional committees
• Frequent trips abroad.

Profile:

• Agriculture Engineer or equivalent experience
• Experience in seed production is a must Experience in management of an international team based in different locations (e.g.: French, Japanese, American).
• Experience in the running of transversal projects.
• Good level of technical expertise.
• Ability to analyse, anticipate and to develop a strategic vision
• Fluent French and English, Spanish would also be an asset.

Job based near Angers (France), full-time, permanent contract, to start on 1st March 2018.
