Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Location: Davis, California, USA

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist position will support new product approvals, maintain existing approvals and organize and maintain regulatory documents under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs. The role is focused on U.S. activities and is primarily tactical work.

Position location: Davis, California

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and do not require work authorization sponsorship by Agrinos now or in the future.
Seeking Local Candidates

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as Agrinos interface with state and local regulatory officials • Organize and maintain product labels, state registrations, organic certifications and other documentation
  • Understand and remain current with state and local regulatory and organic requirements
  • Develop and maintain process for document archiving
  • Represent Regulatory on cross functional teams
  • Effectively communicate with internal team members

Qualifications

  • BS in scientific field such as biology, microbiology, chemistry or agronomy
  • Experience in agrochemical, biotechnology or fertilizer product development.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Regulatory Sciences or Regulatory Affairs
  • Bilingual: Spanish, English
  • Basic understanding of how intellectual property is developed and managed
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Technical aptitude, interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, initiative
  • Microsoft Office
  • Travel 5-10% of time.
