Valoya is hiring a high performing Account Manager based in The Netherlands, Belgium or France.
Your tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Create demand at end user level and drive sales through the Valoya Reseller Network. Leverage your network in the industry for immediate impact.
- Manage selected global accounts including new case acquisition, follow up, deal closing and up/cross-selling.
- Build and expand relationships with end Customers and Resellers for long term success, positioning Valoya as the brand of choice.
- Create value adding light solutions for customers in cooperation with Resellers, Plant R&D and Product Management.
- Create business cases and quantify benefits for Valoya solutions in cooperation with Product Management and Plant R&D
- Provide product training and technical support, as well as participate in industry events to support the business and the business objectives.
- Collaborate with team members to maximize business results in both the short and long term in areas such as marketing, development, supply chain, quality and regulatory.
- Identify new business opportunities in Valoya’s focus segments with existing and future products and services.
- Support the development of sales tools for partners and resellers in cooperation with sales and 3rd party sub-contractors.
- Participate in customer care and after sales.
- Identify, network with, and leverage market influencers (public speakers, gurus in selected domains).
We wish you have:
- BSc. or MSc. degree in a relevant field with minimum 10 years of work experience.
- Proven track record of b-to-b account management in horticulture, solution or service business.
- Existing professional network in horticulture.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills in English and French. Other languages are a significant advantage.
- Ability to work independently and with people on all organizational levels.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time globally (mainly Europe).
- Very good Microsoft Office skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Understanding of auxiliary systems relevant for light solutions e.g. environmental control.
- Stellar customer service skills.
