Vilmorin (Business Unit of Limagrain Group, 9600 employees), is an international company with over 270 years’ experience in breeding, production and sales of innovative vegetable and tree seeds to professional growers.

In order to support our continuous international growth, we are currently recruiting a Local Sales Promoter in Iran (Ideally located in Yazd, Kerman or Bushehr).

Reporting to the Regional Area Sales Manager, the Local Sales Promoter will be responsible for the development and promotion of vegetable seeds in Iran.

Main Responsibilities:

• Organize pre-development and development trials in coordination with the Area Sales Manager, Product Managers and Breeders.
• Implement the trials plan and guarantee the technical follow-up of products
• Provide technical support locally for Vilmorin activities, and preserve a good relationship with distributors
• Evaluate the trials and make regular reports in English to the Manager.
• Analyze the market trends and collect market data’s
• Participate in the conception of the communication marketing plan and its implementation (product launches, field days, brochures, expositions, seminars, advertisements, etc.).
• Participate in the promotion and forecasting of the new varieties in coordination with our distribution network.

Profile:

With at least 3 years of experience in the seed industry (especially having and experience in Tomato, Cucumber and Eggplant product). Open-minded with strong capacity of adaptation in a multicultural environment, the candidate must have a degree in Agronomy or Agriculture.

Ideally, this person should be proactive, diplomatic, and organized; with good analytical, synthetic and negotiation skills.

The following skills are mandatory:

• Languages: Fluent Farsi and English (writing and oral skills).
• IT: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web tools (advanced/professional user)
• Driving License.

This position requires frequent travels within the country and sometimes outside it.
