Headstart Nursery, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Seed Management Associate based out of our Gilroy, California facility.  We are seeking a motivated, self-starter with the right mix of experience who will be interested in growing with the position. 

This focus of this position will be to provide liaison between Headstart Nursery and its customers, sales representatives and management team.  This includes, but is not limited to, organizing, directing and coordinating the daily activities for production; working closely with customers, management and sales representatives to enhance existing relationships and communications; and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. 

Position Requirements:

• Ability to complete a high volume of work within deadlines.
• Detail oriented team player with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
• Capability of making decisions quickly and communicating information to appropriate parties.
• Willingness to work nights and/or weekends as the hours will change based on business needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in the greenhouse industry is a plus, but not required.
