Sales Coordinator
Location: South of France, in Uchaud (30), between Nîmes and Montpellier Context
Sakata Vegetables Europe is a subsidiary of Sakata Seed Corporation (Japan) and is responsible for the development and expansion of the activities across the EMEA area. With our wide array of vegetable seeds, we want to create a confidence-based relationship with our customers, working to our age old motto of Quality, Reliability and Service. Among the Sales department of Sakata Vegetables Europe, you will participate to the structuration of our sales network and the development of our turnover. Missions
The main purpose of this job is to coordinate information referring to sales department between internal departments and assist Sales director in daily commercial activities.
Thus you will:
- Follow up sales portfolio, inform management and make proposals to improve situation
- Follow up and analysis of unsecure/secure open orders by customer
- Assist Sales Director for the preparation of the company’s sales forecasts process and yearly budget settlement
- Prepare and coordinate the implementation of new price lists, make updates and corrections on prices in ERP when necessary
- Compile all sales monthly reports and improve the structure of the document, set up and define precise ratios and statistics for Sales department in order to help increase our profitability
- Follow up Long list inventory sales and statistics in coordination with other SAKATA groups
- Coordinate orders and specific issues with other SAKATA groups (prices, quantities…)
- Participate actively in future implementation of IT tool development projects (CRM, BI…)
The position requires a few trip to meet with clients and to participate to some major yearly meetings.
Profile
- We are looking for experienced candidates with significant experience in sales management and/or the vegetables/seeds sector.
- A degree in agronomy is preferred.
- The position requires an important autonomy, relational and intercultural abilities, organization and flexibility.
- You will also have highly developed skills to motivate, inspire and persuade.
- English and use of office automation tools are necessary.
