Head Seed Tech Department

Location: Made, The Netherlands

Hazera’s headquarters are situated in Israel and in The Netherlands, with subsidiaries in twelve countries and an extensive distribution network providing services in over 100 additional markets. In The Netherlands, Hazera is located in Made (headquarter), Rilland and Tuitjenhorn (research and development).

For our head Office in Made we are looking for a Head Seed Tech Department (M/F)

Fulltime

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all seed treatment processes, like disinfection, coating & priming.
  • Leading a small team of people (this can be different depending on the time of year) and work closely with your colleges of Packing/ Processing and Logistics;
  • Keep accurate files on the processes and register the data in our ERP system;
  • Upgrading and optimizing existing processes.
  • Testing and evaluating new processes coming from R&D, before implementing it in our production system.
  • Analyzing (history) research and production data concerning the different seed treatment processes;
  • Work internationally close with other seed process technologists within the Limagrain organization;
  • Working according safety rules & regulations;
  • Be responsible for creating a safe and healthy environment. 

Profile:

  • Minimum MBO in Agriculture, Life Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Chemistry or related field preferred;
  • Experience with seed treatment processes, disinfection-, priming- and coating machines and systems;
  • Ability to interact with and facilitate projects across internal and external groups, including Marketing, Sales, R&D, Production;
  • Demonstrated ability to gain support and lead change;
  • Decisive, good planner/ organizer, innovative, team player, hands-on mentality and flexible;
  • Experience with automatic data systems (Excel, ERP system);
  • Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken);
  • Experience in an international environment is an advantage;
  • Willingness to travel.
