HM CLAUSE KENYA is looking for a Technical Out-Grower Network Supervisor

Position Purpose:
Main responsibility is to supervise and help out-growers to ensure that seed production (from sowing / transplanting to seed extraction) is meeting targets of quality, quantity, timelines and costs for farm-allocated crops and to record all production data.

Duties and Responsibilities

Main responsibilities are :

• Provide production advice to the growers on seed production, including fertilizers and pesticides use
• Ensure a crop follow up for each plot
• Control during pollination and harvesting to guarantee the purity.
• Regular control during the crop cycle to guarantee the germination
• Creation and updating of operation protocols
• Implementation of a production report for out growers
• Report weekly to Regional Production manager – Station Manger
• Visit out-growers with Cucurbit and Solanum Supply Chain Manager

Qualifications

• Holder of a degree in Agriculture/Horticulture.
• 4 years’ experience in agronomy,
• Experience and knowledge on a similar position.
• Must be proficient in both oral and written English and Kiswahili.
• A strong personality with overview.
• Must be proactive and work with little supervision.
• Able to work in isolated area.
• Should be a team player and motivator.
• Should be flexible and willing to learn.
• Holder of a valid driving license.
