Bioline AgroScienses Ltd. is specialized in the production and marketing of biological control agents and in particular macro-organisms active against insects pest in fruits, vegetables and flower crops. Because of the renewed situation and expected growth there is a vacancy for the position of Business Development Manager Northern Europe.
Job Description
- Creating strong growth, expanding the business and develop new customer relations
- Responsible for forecasting and annual sales results of Bioline products within Northern Europe.
- Monitoring sales objectives and whenever objectives are not reached proactively take actions together with the Commercial Manager.
- Responsible for the sales target and margins.
- Develop and implement strategic key account plans, join technical meetings, plan demo trails with the crop advisors and launch new products into the market.
- Build and maintain close contact with customers and third parties like key growers and key influencers.
- Report market developments and complaints to the Commercial Manager.
You will be responsible for the sales team Northern Europe (Russia, Poland, Benelux and Scandinavia) and you will directly report to the Commercial Manager of Bioline AgroSciences Ltd.

Job requirements
- MSc. in Horticulture, Plants Sciences, Agriculture, Commerce and relevant working experience within the professional horticultural industry.
- Have good knowledge of crop protection and integrated crop management programs in the greenhouse and/or fruit industry.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Written communication (both Dutch and English) accurate and to-the-point.
- Preferably French.
- Experienced in managing and motivating a technical and/or a sales team.
- Excellent communication skills, being able to convince, challenge or motivate relevant target groups to make improvements and to become a trustworthy professional partner.
- Capable to initiate and manage processes and projects at the interface between customers and the internal organization.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently within Northern Europe.
