Regional Product Development Manager

Responsibilities include:
- Introducing and promoting the new HM.Clause products in Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and Austria :
- Directly involved in launching and promoting the new products.
- Promote the technical results to the producers and distributors networks.
- Help the distributors in building the product sales points and characteristics.
- Follow up and collect data of the adaptation trials.
- In connection with the European Product Development Manager, building the trial plan, field realization and results monitoring.
- Manage the available sample stock from reception to sowing.
- Supervise and realize when necessary trials sowing and planting.
- Compare and evaluate varieties to the industry standards.
- Summarize and share the results.
- Evaluate the sales potential.
- Identify the added value of a new product in these countries.
- Technical contact to help the local distributor for sales and contact with opinion leaders.
- Update and exchange market information with the European Product Development Manager, synthesize and report it at the frequency and under the format requested by the European Product Development Manager:
- Watch over and follow up prices, performances and positioning of products from HM-Clause and the competition.
- Be up to date with the vegetable seeds administration requirements and main actors.
- Evaluate market size, describe characteristics, anticipate evolutions, and suggest development and sales strategy.
- Take active part in preparing the Forecast.
- Keep up with a high level of communication, organization and time management in order to be proactive and compensate the distance from the head quarter and the main contact.
- To be the key link between regional customers & the product managers & breeders at HM.Clause.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or above, of Agronomist specialist on plant production or plant protection
Experience
Minimum experience of 5 years in seed or agricultural business in the region.
Localization : Position ideally located in Greece.
