Your tasks & responsibilities:

• Responsible for all seed treatment processes, like disinfection, coating & priming.
• Leading a small team of people (this can be different depending on the time of year) and work closely with your colleges of Packing & Processing;
• Keep accurate files on the processes and register the data in our ERP system; -Upgrading and optimizing existing processes and work closely with the Seed Technologist from R&D.
• Testing and evaluating new processes coming from R&D, before implementing it in our production system.
• Analyzing (history) research and production data concerning the different seed treatment processes;
• Working according safety rules & regulations; -Be responsible for creating a safe and healthy environment.

Your profile:

• Minimum MBO. Specialization in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Chemistry or related field preferred;
• Experience with seed treatment processes, disinfection-, priming- and coating machines and systems;
• Ability to interact with and facilitate projects across internal and external groups, including Marketing, Sales, R&D, Production;
• Demonstrated ability to gain support and lead change;
• Decisive, good planner/ organizer, innovative, team player, hands-on mentality and flexible;
• Experience with automatic data systems (Excel, ERP system);
• Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken);
• Experience in an international environment is an advantage;
• Willingness to travel.
