Postdoctoral Environmental Plant Biologist / Agronomist

Location: Davis, California, USA

Postdoctoral position open in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of California, Davis.

The incumbent will contribute to a project aimed at understanding the physiology of Mexican maize landraces.

The successful applicant must have a Ph.D in Agronomy or a related discipline and experience using stable isotopes (15N) and the planning and design of field experiments to evaluate plant performance. Experience with maize and bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are desirable. Evidence of proven research productivity and scientific writing ability is required.

Review of applications will start March 10th, 2014 and continue until the position is filled.
