Plant Pathologist

Location: Immokalee, Florida, USA

BHN Seed, a privately-funded tomato variety development firm in Southwest Florida with established plant breeding program, is looking for a Plant Pathologist.

This position will work closely with plant breeders and biotechnologists through in-vivo disease screening for resistance, disease diagnosis, as well as conducting independent experiments on special projects.

Candidate must have a PhD or MS with relevant experience in Plant Pathology, with strong laboratory skills, knowledge of traditional genetics and biotechnology, excellent communication and organizational skills, and willing to work with a cross-cultural team.
