Starke Ayres, a leading vegetable seed company headquartered in South Africa, with over 135 years’ experience in agriculture, has been breeding and supplying competitive varieties of vegetable crops since 1986 to the local and international markets. A vacancy exists for a highly motivated Product and Market Development Co-ordinator who will be stationed in Nairobi (Kenya). This role will be responsible for the product identification, commercial introduction and sales support to distributors in the East African Region.

Responsibilities include:

• Continuously conduct analyse market trends and determine needs for improved products in the region.
• Execute strategic seed trials and commercial introductions
• Liase with distributors
• Extensive travelling throughout the East African Region will be required.

Minimum requirements:

• Horticulture Degree
• 3 - 5 years relevant experience in the Vegetable Seed Industry
• Computer literacy – MS Word and Excel
