Over the years, Driscoll’s, which started out in California, has grown to be represented on each continent. As our dynamic European organisation is growing rapidly, we are looking for an ambitious Nursery Relations Manager EMEA.

The Nursery Relations Manager EMEA will be responsible for monitoring the execution of Service Levels concerning the Plant Supply to the growers in order to facilitate and promote communications between key stakeholders and growers.

Tasks

• Responsible for constant monitoring of the perceived and executed service levels
• Facilitate and promote the communications between all key stakeholders in the plants supply process: nurseriers, technical nursery support, agronomists, grower management and the growers
• Assist the Plant Supply Manager in managing the plant claims process and budget, recommending the procedures regarding plant claims handling and support to claims decision making
• Monitoring the plant quality from the nursery gate to the grower fields, accompanying planting and stages of development of the supplied plant material
• Plant claims diagnosis by collecting information that is conducive to the identification of the causes of any plant issues, in strict collaboration with the field agronomists
• You will constitute the first line and face to the grower community of the plants department

You are the ideal candidate for us if you have a bachelor or master degree in Plant / Crop Physiology and a solid working experience that can deliver good understanding of plant physiology, namely of berries. Working experience within the soft fruit area is preferred. You are a detail oriented, accurate and reliable teamplayer who is organized, analytical and able to multitask . You have very strong interpersonal relationship skills and working under pressure and delivering to tight deadlines gives you energy. You are an excellent communicator in Dutch and English; Spanish is a pre.
